January is always the big month of goals and resolutions. By February, you’re back to a normal schedule from the holidays and have had time to start work on achieving your goals. March is unique in that it gives you a great opportunity to re-evaluate your goals relatively early in the year. You’re in a more realistic state of mind, which means you are able to recognize which goals matter the most to you and which ones aren’t as important. You’ve also had time to start work on the goals that are important. No doubt you have faced some challenges along the way in achieving them and perhaps you’ve even given up completely on some of them.
This month I want to cheer you up and on towards the goals you have set for yourself.
Losing zeal for the things you want to do when life hits you is common with everyone. What separates the winners from the losers is that winners keep finding the energy and motivation to move forward, refusing to remain in the tight corners life pushes us to in difficult times.
Have you lost your zeal for the goals you wanted to achieve? Has everything gone in the opposite direction from where you want it to be? Don’t lose hope and refuse to stand. One of the keys to success is persistence in rising every time you fall. In the words of a Chinese proverb, “The best time to plant a tree is yesterday; the next best time is now”. This is the last month of the first quarter and you still have the time to make this quarter count so step out, move boldly and conquer this month!
