As the year 2015 fast winds to an end with just a few hours left, it’s important that we take some time to reflect on the experiences of the past year.
You may have experienced highs perhaps through births, marriages, new jobs, promotions and long awaited breakthroughs. You may also have experienced lows due to deaths, illness, break-ups, job losses, things just not going your way and uncertainty about the future. Very likely there’s been a mixed bag of both through the past 12 months.
Whatever the case may be, accept that everything you’ve gone through has brought you to the point you are now. Learn from them, and MOVE ON. Don’t get caught up in the accolades of yesterday and think you’ve reached your peak. Neither should you stay stuck in the sadness or depression that the negative things you’ve gone through may have caused. Don’t start 2016 with unnecessary baggage.
January 1 typically represents a clean slate for everyone. The year is a fresh page for you to write your story on.
Make it a good one.
